<p>This early work by Elinor Glyn was originally published in 1901 and we are now republishing it with a brand new introductory biography. 'The Letters of her Mother to Elizabeth' is Glyn's first attempt at authorship. She was the youngest daughter of a civil engineer, Douglas Southerland, and his wife Elinor Saunders. Elinor Glyn began her writing career in 1900 and was a pioneer of the risqu? and romantic fiction genre.
